Koondoom Yarkeen
Koondoom Yarkeen Karweeyn (dancers) are a local Gunditjmara dance group made up from descendants of the Kerrup Gunditj clan from South West Victoria. Previously known as the Winda Mara Dance Group, they have been around for over 30 years and continue to share and display their ongoing connection to their Ancestors, Songlines, Culture and Traditions in an ever changing modern world.
Utilising the Dhauwurd Wurrung language, they showcase stories passed down, traded and created to keep those connections thriving for generations to come.
