About us

Koolang Moothang was created by Kerrupjmara & Yorta Yorta man Troy Lovett who grew up in Heywood and has lived there for a majority of his life. 
Currently living in Heywood with his Partner Jenna and Son Tyrell, he is passionate about local culture and community.
He demonstrates this through his dancing and artwork, both of which take inspiration from the Gunditjmara landscape as well as the stories and songlines of his ancestors.

Koolang Moothang was a vision set in motion by Troy to promote the Gunditjmara landscapes, flora & fauna and traditions through his artwork.
